She Fell

She shook

For lack of emotion

Had ejected her into reality

Tumbling

Falling from grace

The doubt grew

Flying with wings of uncertainty

Never knowing what her purpose was

For the fear of falling

She would fall

Mercilessly

For the wrong person

On two occasions

Once in her prime

And another when the world had grown asunder

She fell

For all the obvious lies

For the sweet words that would grant her sanity

She knew that the words would never last

They brought her freedom

Dancing on the winds

Chasing oblivion

So she fell

And kept on falling

Til she met a cliff

She could not overcome
