I Will Forget Your Name

When the light fades from your face

And the moon refuses to shine

Will you accept your demise

I will say it softly

As if it were a kiss by a fairy

I will forget your name

Little pieces of who you were

Will release you from this world

I will say it fiercely

Taking in a breath of fresh air

I will forget you name

Like fragments of a memory

Gone when the light gets low

Turn a tell me a tale

Of a man who forgot his name

And when the end came

He was more shell than man

More of a memory than skin and bones
