It’s another Sunday, and as the year draws to a close, I want to take the time to remind you that you will be okay. Maybe this year wasn’t so great for you; perhaps you lost a loved one. Take a breath.
Ready?
(Okay, just a small side note, I freaked out all day Saturday about posting this, and I thought that no one would read it and almost had a panic attack but decided to post it anyway. Sorry, I am so anxious and terrified of everything, so I will be indulging in some of these suggestions to help find my center. Whew! Anxiety, am I right?)
I hope you practiced some of the #selfcare methods from last week. If not, here’s a few more options that can help you center yourself.
- Stretch! You’re probably sore from this week. Right? Put down a mat and stretch those bones.
- Drink water. Have you met your water requirements for the day? No? Take this moment to drink a cup of water.
- Go for a walk if you can stand the weather. Observe the little animals as they scurry away.
- Breathe and remember your purpose on earth is to make life better for those around you.
I hope that this set of ideas helped you find something to do or led you in the right direction. It is also perfectly acceptable to do absolutely nothing.
