Sweet notes linger in the air

Oh the night is alive

With rhythm here and there

Can you feel it?

Into the air a fairy twirls

Charming as light that coaxes me from my slumber

She giggles in pure delight

Sends music to her kin

And on the notes of summer’s eve

A fairy dances into the night

Skipping and singing as the time goes by

Into the night and to the sky

Her sweet lullaby 

Tucks me in

And for a moment I forget I am human
