You could see the joy on his face
Delicate pride lost in a moment of certainty
And I felt…
Nothing
No heart beats
No angels singing
Just whispers of what should be there.
The joy of the passed me by
And like a thought caught on a child’s imagination, gone.
He told me that he loved me today
And like all the days before
I felt for certain this
Not a feeling but a state of being
Numb
Spice and Nice 
Maybe the most pleasing things
is for us to hear “I love you”
those three words sound magical
even more when they are true.
Cannot say why when heard
someone can go a state of numb
maybe is a question of believing
or is about for all that dirty slump.
Don’t just believe everything
but instead, look for the action
find what demonstrate real love
after all, words can be a distraction.
This is why you should read this
we shouldn’t focus much on a word
it is not what we say that matters
actions matter a lot more in the world.
