Music Of The Broken Soul

Shattered
Broken
Bare-boned soul
Beat me til I feel no more
Take the breath from my lungs
Watch me suffocate on your affection
Ground up tears
Sprinkle with a smile
Laughter
Stifling
Weep no more
Fear the light
Let darkness drown me
In a cold world
That feels no harm
Let my chains hit the floor
Ring aloud
Listen to the music of a broken soul
