I know this post is late, forgive me?
Yesterday was just so stressful, we are in the process of buying our first house and my goodness the amount of paperwork that we have to go through is astounding. So rather than be stressed out today I decided to do some meditation and stretching.
You probably already know by now that this has become my go-to when I am super stressed out. As I am writing this, I can’t find my glasses and I lost my pencil. So not as relaxed as I want to be, but I will definitely try to get as much work done today as possible.
My session was 15 minutes of calming music and slowly working out the muscles in my body. I really just need to get a foam roller and call it a day, but I am reluctant to purchase anything that I actually need.
After stretching, I was hoping to attain that level of comfort where I look at the day and say “Do your worst, you ungrateful bastard”, yet it was more like “Be kind to me, I break easy”.
I think I will have to do an extra session today just to make my body relax and my mind find peace.
