Day 13: 30 Days of Yoga With Down Dog

Another practice complete and another tired Joy at your service. I have been so tired lately; the fatigue is slowly killing me, I guess.

Today was another 23-minute practice with three minutes in the last pose, where I just laid still and breathe. I feel as though today’s practice was heavy on the arms, I kept returning to forward lunge and cobra pose. To think I would know the names of so many poses after such a short amount of time, this is truly amazing.

I am once again able to touch my toes and bend in physics-defying positions. Part of me is still convinced that the body was not meant to be contorted to these positions, but that part is in the minority. My body is getting better at receiving torture by means of yoga and, to be honest, I am quite proud of it. Now my next goal is to be able to do a beginner level two aerobic workout without having a flare-up right after I finish.
