Day 10: 30 Days of Yoga with Down Dog

Oh my goodness! It is the 10th day and I am so happy. I may or may not have tried a harder session and I may or may not have done the lizard pose. Regardless of what happened, my hips are currently on fire and I am sweating.

I tried to do a hip extension focus and I felt every moment of it. 23 minutes of putting pressure on my hips and then reaching up to the ceiling. The lizard pose took out my rational of finding a more painful move, due to my shorts I was actually not able to get all the way done. I was also afraid of flashing my friend my under regions.

I still don’t know whether I am falling in love with yoga or not, but I am starting to feel better about my body and that’s a good thing. I want to master that stretch where you start at warrior one and then you move to side angle pose. Then you have to take one of your arms and move behind you to touch your hips. I feel like I am not the best at explaining it but I will find a photo of it and post it on twitter tomorrow.
