April in Review

April was a difficult month and thank God it is over. Let’s just be clear that I met none of my writing goals and none of my social media account goals.

I feel like I have had difficult months for the last few months and it’s time for a change I tell you!

Here are a few things I learned:

#IndieApril is an interesting concept. The idea is to buy books, music, art, and other knick-knacks made by indie artists. I learned that the writing community on Twitter is pretty awesome about celebrating other authors. I have sold three books, and that’s pretty great for me. I got five books and realized that I should only buy paperbacks or hardcover books. This way I won’t forget to read them and stop my book hoarding tendencies.

Yoga is not for the faint at heart. I have been started on this yoga journey and have already stretched my crotch beyond human design. There is a small part of me that is really loving the feeling of the stretch and not complaining about just how crazy my breathing is getting or that one pain between my shoulders that will not go away. You can keep up with my 30-day challenge by just following my blog.

Depression sucks! There I said it! Depression makes me feel so empty like I have become a disappointment to my dreams. I don’t really know why but every now and then I fall into a deep depression and nothing, but Sweet Jesus and Chocolate can get me out again. I feel better now like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders, it makes me think that you can really drown while breathing when not in water.

April may not have been my best month, but I hope to learn and grow from it. Take a look at the things we will be doing for the rest of the month in the post coming out this weekend. Thank you guys again for sticking around, and I hope to continue to put out exciting content.

As always friends, stay happy, stay healthy, and keep moving forward.
