
My hips, inner thighs, and crotch hates me and for a very good reason too. I have never in my life stretched my crotch this much before.
The pigeon pose has a unique power of stretching all that is good and holy about my body. This was a 15-minute session with a lot of slow movements. There was one point where my left leg was no longer touching the ground and I took a breath, in that moment I think I cracked something precious. My pride as a woman may or may not have stayed on the floor after I got up.
I did notice that I was a bit more flexible on today and my breath wasn’t as labored. I mean sure I was still dying from some of the moves, but it was a much slower death than usual.
Honestly, I feel a bit proud of myself. I have pushed my limits and I am proud. My writing has not really improved over the last few days but my mood is a lot better.
