Writer’s Block

Typewriter

The words are stuck in my throat

I go to write

Nothing comes out

Blank screens stare at me

I should be writing

Yet the words fail me

The refuse to come

Tears fail

Depression sets in

I try again

Banging my head on the keyboard

The words have fail me

There are no poems here

Writer’s block has set in again
