Day 2: 30 Days of Yoga with Down Dog

I really hate the lizard pose. It is painful, it stretches my parts-unknown, and I do not like the fact that it hurts. However, it kind of feels good after the long stretch that it entails. I’m not good at stretching and that is something I probably need to work on. I’m noticing on the second day that I’m not as flexible as I wish I was and that is kind of crappy.

Today, I did a 15-minute session and I had to shorten my session because I was kind of sore from the previous day. This was a restorative session because I did not want for it to be too intense. The intensity has paid off in a bit, I don’t feel as sore anymore and my body feels a lot more relaxed. So far so good, we’re doing great so if you’re on this with me keep up the good work, I am so happy that we can go in this wonderful, crazy journey together.
