
A happy Sunday to you!
Welcome to a new week. I was supposed to write a post yesterday and the day before. I did not. While I do regret not being able to write, I don’t regret breaking down a few walls over the last few days to get my emotions across.
There are days when my anger gets the best of me and I scream. I punch pillows and roll around in the grass.
Weird?
As my name states, I am a joyous person. My way of dealing with anger can be anything from drink tea to cutting grass in the backyard with scissors.
Maybe this isn’t what you thought dealing with anger should be like. I know plenty of people who punch walls, go for walks, or exercise their way through their anger and frustrations.
You see my anger can be very dangerous and while you may think that’s shocking well let’s just say I have a very good reason to be angry. Life hasn’t always been a great journey for me and I have been a few people’s physical and emotional punching bag. The good news is that though I look like the grandma type, I have a really great right hook.
I don’t suggest you test it out any time soon. My brothers taught me how to fight and now I am very good at it. But if I used my fists to deal with all the people and situations that make me angry, I will be no better than those I want to forget.
So please join me as I scream into the abyss. Take a moment to cut grass with me. Hey, you can even meditate if you feel like it.
Your anger should not control you, yes feel it. Learn from it but overcome it. You are much stronger than you think. So don’t give up.

I love this! I will join you cutting the grass! I am the type that I just bottle things in and then explode, however I know that’s not healthy, so I’ve had to do healthier things like exercise my anger away, love this post! I will shout in the abyss with you!
