I have left

I have saved a seat for you compliments

And left room for your kisses

A little sliver between my fingers

Is how much space I have left for you

I have left the door open

If you so choose to come in

Because the pieces of myself

Have no meaning with your absence

Raged hearts don’t beat as fast as free birds fly

Your leaving is like heavy breathing

A sin of a sort

I seek forgiveness in your arms

On your lips

Yet empty hand greet me with cold eyes

No forgiveness for my sins

Only mourning lies in the morning

When empty sheets don’t mean the same

A seat for your compliments

Have gone cold like your heart

My soul dies at the sight of your departure

Parting is no sweet sorrow

Only torture for tomorrow
