Remember To Relax This Weekend

The weekend is upon us once again. And despite all the things that you have to do, whether it’s work or just looking after the kiddos, it can get a bit tiring.

So this weekend I want to remind you to relax. Life tends to fly by with how busy we have become, there are tons of chores that I have to do this weekend and articles to write.

But you can bet your sweet bottom dollar that I am going to sleep in and have french toast. Nothing stops me, except pain, from enjoying my weekend. And as I get older and before we start to have children, it’s good to remember that every now and then we need to just relax.

So this weekend, take it easy. Chores can always be done another day, but spending time with your loved ones will be more meaningful in the end. (Exemption: Unless you have toxic people around you, then go to your bat cave and read a book.)

Here are some ideas of things you can do.

Go for a walk.

Take a look at this blog.

You can go to the library and read to your heart’s content.

If you are super into books check out the app called Libby which lets you borrow ebooks and audios from the library using your library card.

If you are not into books then try watching a movie a few good ones are Secondhand Lions, Moon, Murder on the Orient Express, and Chocolate (if you like Thai movies and fighting).

You are a ball of wonder, so go out there and have a wonderful weekend.

As always my friends, stay happy, stay healthy, and keep moving forward.
