My Redemption

On rainy days

When the sun has gone away

Like a flower without water

I wilt

It may be my guilt that has made me this way

Forgiveness

Is something I can never earn

My redemption is at hand

All I seek is a salvation

Which saves me from myself

I wish to be whole again

To find the broken pieces

Which I lack within

I wish for the world to stop spinning

Not to leave me behind

Remember me

And Weep

Weep for the life lost

My salvation was so close

To being complete

If only I knew

What being whole was

Then my redemption

Would have meant more

Than just a child’s daydream
